NAV: The deadline of chips-tax is approaching

The deadline of public health taxes so called chips-tax is approaching – told the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) to MTI on Tuesday.

According to the Communication; the tax liability is applied on soft drinks, energy drinks, pre-packaged sugar products, salty snacks, seasonings if they are pre-packaged products, and can be classified under customs tariff numbers specified in the legislation and meet the conditions.

According to the communication, the deadline is October 20 and must be done online in general cases. The form and its instructions can be found at the www.nav.gov.hu site – reports MTI.
