NAV: a criminal gang cheated with price-capped food
The network of companies that caused billions in damage with price-capped food was liquidated in an international operation, the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) announced on its Facebook page on Thursday.
It was written that a large amount of cooking oil and granulated sugar reached the stores in Hungary, which a Hungarian criminal organization brought into the country with billions of tax evasion.
The members of the organization sold the products purchased from neighboring countries domestically through multi-level, large company networks, with the involvement of crooks and failed companies, and thus caused more than six billion forints in damage to the budget.
