The Lego factory in Nyíregyháza will establish a solar panel park
The Lego factory in Nyíregyháza plans to establish a solar panel park in the area next to the production department. The solar panels are expected to be installed next summer, the company told MTI.
The announcement highlighted that the photovoltaic power plant will be able to produce 4.6 megawatts of energy per year, which is about 40 to 50 percent of the plant’s energy needs.
The investment contributes to the Lego Group’s recently announced commitment to reduce its plants ’carbon footprint by 37 percent by 2032. (MTI)
