NAK: domestically grown greenhouse vegetables are now available in stores
According to the NAK, the supply of vegetables to Hungarian producers is of better quality than imports, and their food health safety is also adequate. Sprouted pepper, tomato and cucumber crops use up to 90 percent biological plant protection, meaning they protect against pests with their natural enemies. As has been written, the growing season for fresh vegetables is longer due to greenhouse farming, as outdoor cultivation is more limited by climatic conditions. (MTI)
