It is crucial to improve competitiveness in the agricultural sector
The uncertainties of the post-2020 EU support system and the increasing market competition both show that it is essential to improve competitiveness in the agricultural sector – Győrffy Balázs, president of the National Association of Agricultural Economics (NAK) told in Vasszécseny.

The EU agricultural subsidies are expected to persist well beyond 2020, however arrangements and the terms and conditions of draws on sources may be transformed – Győrffy Balázs said. In the case of direct supports sustainability and environmental protection will be in focus, while in case of investment subsidies the share of reimbursable resources may increase – the president of NAK stressed.
