NAK: the coronavirus has also transformed consumer habits
Shoppers spend less time in grocery stores and shop more purposefully. The overview of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) shows that although the usual buying habits before the outbreak of the pandemic were somewhat restored, some changes remained.
Based on the feedback from the traders interviewed by the Chamber of Commerce, it can be said that shopping habits – including the number of purchases, the “size” and composition of the shopping basket – have slowly but largely returned to pre-emergency levels, but turnover is still below, compared to the same period of the previous year.
