Many Hungarian plant species are well adapted to tropical conditions
There are many arable crops or vegetables in Hungary that are well adapted to tropical conditions, – Gyuricza Csaba, Director General of the National Center for Agricultural Research and Innovation told M1 news channel on Tuesday morning.
He spoke about setting up a model farm network in eight African countries, and as a first step, there are already several farms in Ghana.
Gyuricza Csaba said they first tested different varieties of vegetables, such as cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers, but they also planted ornamental plants on another farm. (MTI)
