Large companies and experts join forces for job seekers in Kőbánya

The special feature of this year’s SzakmaFest, which is now being held for the third year, is that this time you can also take a look behind the scenes at the blue-chip companies in Kőbánya during the on-site visits organized to the visitor and development centers, for which you can pre-register at the SzakmaFest. In addition, visitors can get to know many professions and tasks up close, and consulting, interactive programs and workshops will help them in their personal development. The event was brought to life by the cross-sector cooperation X-GAIN, which is unique in Hungary, and aims to continuously develop the entire local ecosystem in Kőbánya in parallel with the technological development of local companies.

Free consultations all day

During the day, visitors can participate in personalized, free career and job search consultations, where they can acquire the knowledge necessary for a successful job search, CV writing and job interview preparation. The goal is for everyone to confidently take the next career step.

Workshops for a successful career

The central element of the event will be lectures and roundtable discussions, where the speakers will answer the most common and important questions of job seekers and career starters. We will talk about how to write an excellent CV from the crowd, how to prepare for a typical job interview and how artificial intelligence can be used in the process.

Kőbánya, the district of opportunities

Kőbánya, with a population of 70 thousand, stands out not only for its rich industrial heritage and cultural values, but also for being the home of many large global companies. X-GAIN, a joint platform of the municipality, companies and local community actors, has been working for years to strengthen the economic, social and cultural role of the district, as well as to present the jobs and development paths available locally. 

Extended SzakmaFest – visit to the exhibitors

This year, interested parties will also have the opportunity to register at a later date at the SzakmaFest booth of certain exhibitors and personally visit the companies’ headquarters in Kőbánya. This offers interested parties an additional opportunity to gain a deeper insight into the given corporate culture and professional development opportunities.
