Strawberries became very expensive
The strawberry season started early this year, but customers had to reach deep into their pockets if they wanted fresh Hungarian fruit at the end of March and the beginning of April – origo wrote. In the first week, the producers also asked for 4,000 HUF per kilogram for the fruit.
