The sausage festival in Békéscsaba will be held on a bigger area this year

The 21st Csabai Sausage Festival will be held this year in two large tents and two stages, in addition to the Sports Hall in Békéscsaba, from 19 to 22 October, the organizers told MTI.

Hégely Sándor, the organizer, said that the Sausage Festival of Békéscsaba was introduced to the Hungarian Depository this year, so the traditions and preserving the reputation of the Csabai sausage is at the focus of the event.

He announced that on Saturday a sausage filling competition will be held, with more than 750 teams. On Thursday, 250 junior teams can participate free of charge at the junior sausage filling competition. (MTI)
