Mars withdraws large quantities of chocolate in Germany
The Mars Inc. withdraws Mars, Snickers and Milky Way chocolates from shops in Germany, because a consumer found plastic pieces in one product – the WitschaftsWoche news portal reported on Tuesday.
The Mars Inc. withdraws Mars, Snickers and Milky Way corresponding to seven monthly production in Germany. The recall affects products ranging from 19 June 2016 to 8 January 2017.
According to the company's spokesman, the “voluntary” recall is because a costumer found plastic pieces in one product the product. Mars in its plant in Viersen produces daily ten millions pieces of those kinds of chocolates. (MTI)
