PENNY started the summer with a big surprise
On June 12, not only the barbecue season started at the discount chain, but also the well-known PENNY car, with which the PENNY team surprised the capital’s editorial offices with unusual packages. With the start of the grilling season, the crowd-favorite products that are an indispensable part of a really good grilling party were brought home.
This time again, PENNY started the summer with a wide selection, and in addition to the grilled sausages of the already well-proven, own-brand Grill&Chill product line, it is preparing for the season with many meats marinated in special spices, grilled cheeses, spices and sauces, as well as fresh vegetables mostly from Hungarian sources. In addition, there are also vegan alternatives on the store shelves, such as the grilled báska, or the fried onion and Mediterranean griller. The editorial offices in Budapest were able to taste all of this first hand.
A well-deserved dessert is also an essential part of a really good roast, which PENNY also thought of. In addition to grilled products, he also surprised the press staff with his own Rios ice creams. For the season, the food chain has not only expanded its grill offer, but is preparing for the summer heat with more than 100 types of ice cream. The selection naturally includes popular products such as popsicle sticks and boxed ice creams available in a wide range of flavors.
