Márton Nagy: the growth of the Hungarian economy at around 4 percent is sustainable
The government expects an economic growth of between 2-3 percent this year, but growth of around 4 percent is achievable and sustainable in the long term in 2025, said the Minister of National Economy at a press conference in Budapest on Monday, where he presented the new competitiveness strategy for 2024-2030 adopted by the government. in.
Márton Nagy explained: the growth this year will not reach 4 percent due to the temporary weakness of the export markets, but this is no longer expected in the long term.
The economy is not viewed from above and no indicator system is used, the competitiveness strategy was built on the basis of the proposals of almost 1,300 companies directly or mediated through professional organizations – he said.
