Márton Nagy: Hungarian tourism is in top form

Hungarian tourism is in top form. This year, we surpassed 15 million guests earlier than ever before, at the end of September. This year’s performance is three weeks faster than last year’s pace, wrote Minister of National Economy Márton Nagy on his official Facebook page on Monday.

As he added, this also proves that the interest in Hungary is unwavering, and tourism is not only an important pillar of the national economy, but is also developing more strongly than ever.

He stressed: we will not stop! In order for the sector to continue to soar, we are constantly expanding relations. The minister highlighted some recent announcements: a new direct flight to Philadelphia will start, a new direct flight to Toronto will start, and from September 30, all Hungarian citizens will once again become part of the American Visa Waiver Program – Márton Nagy listed at the end of his post.
