Nagy István: one-year transition period to help prepare for the new wine law
The new wine law came into force on 1 August, and preparations for the new rules will be supported by a one-year transition period until 31 July 2022, the Minister of Agriculture said at a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
A transitional period will help to adapt to the new rules of the Wine Act. Nagy István added that in the first half of the transitional period, the previous procedure should be applied for harvesting and the preparation of new wines. (MTI)
