István Nagy: the Bread of Hungarians program is a thanksgiving for Hungarian farmers
The Bread of the Hungarians – 15 million grains of wheat program represents gratitude in action to Hungarian farmers, the Minister of Agriculture said on Thursday in Tass, Bács-Kiskun County.
At the 2024 Carpathian Basin Donation Ceremony of the Foundation for the Support of Youth Living in State Care and at Risk (ÁGOTA) in Bács-Kiskun County, István Nagy said: this initiative is a thanksgiving to farmers, on the one hand, because they are alive, but also because they had the strength to do the manual work and this has a result; thanksgiving also because they can see the grateful gaze of those to whom they give their offerings.
As stated: the charity event organized by the Hungarian Bread Foundation, the National Chamber of Agriculture and the Association of Hungarian Farmers’ Circles and Cooperatives will provide support to approximately 500 organizations in Hungary and abroad.
