Strengthening the Hungarian economy, protecting families and jobs is the most important goal of the government – Minister of Agriculture István Nagy declared on Saturday at the handover ceremony of the Abda Agora market square in Abda, Győr-Moson-Sopron county.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Agriculture sent to MTI, the head of the ministry said at the event that the Abda municipality won more than HUF 56 million in funding with the support of the Managing Authority of the Rural Development Program in the call for infrastructural and asset development of markets serving local product sales.
From a national economic point of view, it is an important goal for the Hungarian people to choose domestically produced products – emphasized the minister.
This is especially the case with food, the production of which provides work for those working in the food chain, he added.
