Nagy István: The Ministry of Agriculture is preparing 25 billion for crisis management support
The Ministry of Agriculture has prepared a 25 billion HUF crisis management support program for the participants in agriculture and the food industry -Minister of Agriculture Nagy István announced on Tuesday at a ceremony held in Újhartyán on the occasion of the handover of a poultry farm.
The Minister of Agriculture explained that the aim of the program is to maintain food security, strengthen production capacity, and protect about 140,000 jobs. The food industry received eight billion forints and the poultry sector three billion forints. It also includes players in the ornamental plant, vegetable, wine, beekeeping and horse breeding sectors, among others. (MTI)
