Nagy István: The government helps agricultural and food businesses with 25 billion HUF
The government will provide 25 billion HUF to help the agricultural and food businesses to overcome the economic difficulties caused by the coronavirus, the Minister of Agriculture told MTI on Friday.
Nagy István emphasized that during the coronavirus pandemic, the government treats maintaining the stable operation of Hungarian agriculture and the food industry, and thus ensuring the continuity of food supply, as a priority.
He added that the Ministry of Agriculture has developed the National Food Crisis Management Program as part of the economic protection action plan, under which additional funds of 25 billion HUF will be provided in the form of non-refundable support to enterprises in difficulty due to the corona virus.
