Nagy István: Hungarian hop can receive production for 100 million HUF
The Ministry of Agriculture transfers 100 million HUF support for the installment of new hop plantations – the ministerial decree on the issue will soon be published – Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture said on Friday in Sopron at the 4th Beer Rally of Sopron.
At the press conference the minister said that a hectare of hop plantation cost about 8 million forints, and that farmers would be given the maximum amount of 6 million forints to grow hops. According to the head of the ministry, the hop production needs to be revived. (MTI)
