Carrefour plans big steps in Turkey
Carrefour is planning the opening of 100 more hyper-and supermarkets in 2010 in Turkey, after the sixty scheduled for 2009 – announced the French retail chain.
The retail chain also plans to open additional 100 stores under the name Hard Discount, also in next year. According to the spokesman of the company; this is a period of strong growth and large investments in Turkey. This is supported by the fact that the consumer purchases will increase around 6.7 percent until 2012, compared to the 2 percent of 2008 – reports Világgazdaság Online.
