The state assistance saved jobs in the meat industry
When the concerned local governments have invested into the meat plants of Gyula, Kaposvár and Pápa contributed to the retention of about 2000 jobs – the Trade Union of Meat Industry Workers (HDSZ) told MTI on Wednesday.
The HDSZ told MTI that the governmental ownership is only a temporary solution. Development and market considerations require that companies should be owned by private investors again. The HDSZ considers that private investors can provide competitiveness, with substantial capital increase and investments. (MTI)
