A workplace where it’s good to work, K&H is a Top Employer for the fourth time – the bank strengthens with artificial intelligence, home office and family-friendly solutions

Flexible working, value-creating wellbeing programs, digital developments and AI-based HR solutions are now basic requirements for an attractive workplace – and these are the aspects that the Top Employers Institute highly values when awarding the international certification. Based on the organization’s decision, K&H Bank has largely fulfilled these this year as well, thus receiving the Top Employer Hungary award for the fourth time in a row in 2026. The significance of the certification is further strengthened by the fact that K&H’s parent bank, KBC, also won the Top Employer title in Belgium, and for the first time across Europe, which proves the uniform, cross-border employee experience of the entire group.

K&H’s AI-based HR strategy played a prominent role in awarding the certification. Microsoft Copilot and the in-house developed Kate, the digital HR assistant with a name already familiar to customers, have become part of everyday work and have assisted colleagues in more than a thousand internal HR processes. These tools not only speed up employment-related administration, but also significantly reduce administrative burdens. The bank has also launched a systemic knowledge development program with the “AI Legal” program, in which employees can learn the safe, ethical and effective use of artificial intelligence through targeted, practical training, as well as how to integrate AI tools into their work processes.

K&H’s digital, paperless HR processes and the 50 percent home office option provided in the central area also significantly contributed to obtaining the certification, while digitalization also strengthens the bank’s sustainability goals. The personalized solutions adapted to different life situations are complemented by child-friendly measures – including summer camp support, extra summer home office for parents with small children, and a children’s corner in the headquarters – which create a family-friendly working environment that can be planned for in the long term.

The well-being programs, flexible benefit elements, and the Team Blue volunteer charity community, which has now been joined by more than 3,000 people, all serve to ensure that colleagues view K&H not only as a workplace, but also as a supportive community. The bank also pays special attention to embracing career starters and students. Within the framework of the Career Start program, young people can gain marketable knowledge and practice even during their studies through structured mentoring, targeted professional training and real banking projects, while receiving long-term development and advancement opportunities within K&H.
