MUISZ: The protection of the Hungarian interests will be unrecoverable after 15 February

The Association of Hungarian Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MUISZ) and the Hungarian Association of IATA Air Ticket Sales Offices (IRIME), sent a letter to the State Secretary of the National Development Ministry to raise awareness on the problems of the travel agents and problems related to passengers in connection with the stop of Malév.

Travel agents are suggested to the IATA to establish a fund (escrow account)  from the payment of the Hungarian people and businesses to compensate the losses of the Hungarian passengers, travel agencies. The IATA, however, insists on its own internal rules, so there is a risk that after the 15the of February the Hungarian interests will be unrecoverable – reports turizmusonline.hu
