MUISZ: most people booked their hoilday to Greece

On the basis of the booking data, most people booked bus or airplane charter vacation to Greece – Bakó Balázs, member of the Communications Committee of the Hungarian Association of Travel Agencies (MUISZ) told M1 news channel on Sunday.

The Hungarians who already organized their holidays will travel to Turkey, Egypt, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy and Malta after Greece. He added that Spain is becoming popular too, where fewer people traveled in recent years.

Bakó Balázs said that there are still people who are waiting for last-minute trips, but the trend of the past few years shows that the number of those who plan their vacation and book it earleir is getting higher. In the pre-booking period (March or April), it is typically 10-20 percent cheaper to book a trip. Another advantage of the early booking is that the range of trips is higher.
