Tesco takes steps to save plastic
Tesco has stopped using wrapping on its private label, multipack juice cartons, water bottles and fizzy drinks, to achieve its sustainability goal of saving 45 million pieces of plastic a year. Thanks to this step, around 12 million pieces of plastic will be saved, and a further 33 million is estimated to be saved when more plastic is removed in the autumn.
