EU environmental policy makers were discussing about plastic waste in Malta
EU environmental ministers discussed the possibilities of fighting against pollution caused by plastic waste. The conference was organized by the EU Presidency in Malta on Wednesday, 26 April in Valletta. The Hungarian delegation was led by Gulyás Andrea, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM).
According to the information provided by the ministry, the EU ministers agreed that the international conventions and waste management policies should be consistent and mutually strenghtening each other, particularly with regard to the protection of the seas. (MTI)
