MTÜ: almost 40 percent more pre-bookings for the weekend of the Hungarian Grand Prix
More than 150,000 pre-bookings were registered by the accommodation providers in the capital for the weekend of the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, which is almost 40 percent more than the figures from a week earlier – the Hungarian Tourist Agency (MTÜ) informed in a statement on Thursday.
Based on the data of the National Tourist Information Center (NTAK) created by MTÜ, July 21-23. more than 70 percent of guest night bookings in Budapest during the race came from foreigners.
Based on the pre-booking data, the UK ranks first with more than 14,000 bookings, followed by Germany and the Netherlands with nearly 7,000 each, while visitors from Poland came in 4th place with more than 5,500 pre-bookings.
