The Hungarian shop-assistants smile more than last year
The quality of Hungarian customer service seems to catch up to the world average in terms of smiling, greeting and related sales.
Hungary is still lagging behind the leading countries in respects listed above, however, progress has been made. The survey was made with the participation of customer services of 69 countries took part in mystery shopping providers worldwide, examining more than 1.7 million cases.
The shop-assistants welcomed the customers in 93 percent of the cases in stores in Hungary, just like the last year. Recommendations to related sales occured in 51 percent of sales, which is a 1 percent increase, compared to the previous year. The Irish shop-assistants smiled the most: 97 percent of them are smiling, while 81 percent of Hungarian shop-assistants. The world average of smiling is 80 percent.
