Americans drink Moet Henessy
According to the survey of AC Nielsen market research company; premium spirits on U.S. market consumed in larger amounts in August, than a year earlier. The consumers punished mostly Bacardi and Remy.
Compared to the similar period of last year, in the four weeks ended with 22nd August the spirits of the premium beverage producers, consumed on a 3.3 percent higher volume.
The Moet Henessy could increase with the highest degree, while the biggest loser was the Remy Cointreau. The Bailey's did not sell well overseas, with a 15.6 percent decrease in volumes, but the JW Black, Chivas Regal and Jameson both achieved a growth above 20 percent – reports Portfolio.hu.
