Modifications in MVI’s Articles of Association
At the August meeting of the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) members approved the amended Articles of Association. MVI’s goal is to raise the level of Hungary’s hospitality sector, and in connection with this to create the optimal legal, commercial and educational environment – taking into consideration the interests of businesses and professionals working in the sector.
MVI’s tasks include: 1. representing the interests of members when legislation is made, making recommendations; 2. establishing and maintaining relationships with other trade organisations in both Hungary and abroad; 3. assisting the work of members with counselling services and trade publications; 4. organising lectures, training and educational programmes; 5. organising culinary tours and creating forums for exchanging professional information; 6. helping members by establishing a social fund to provide them with financial help and social care; 7. through the foundation honouring the work of those who raise the prestige of the trade in Hungary and abroad. //
