Modern environment, new technology in SPAR’s Regnum meat plant in Perbál
A large-scale renovation and modernization worth HUF 1.1 billion has been carried out in the last two years at SPAR’s meat plant in Perbál, so together with the modern Regnum Húsüzem in Bicske, the domestic chain can claim to be one of the most modern food production sites in Central Europe, whose most important goal is that customers deliver checked quality products to your table, preferably made from Hungarian ingredients.
SPAR Magyarország’s Regnum meat plant in Bicske was started almost twenty years ago with the aim of providing the supermarket chain with its own production, sourced from reliable sources and processed with the most modern technology. Nothing indicates the popularity of the products better than the fact that in 2020 the company group purchased the Perbál site of ZIMBO Perbál Húsipari Termelő Kft. in order to further grow.
“In order for the Perbál plant to largely meet our quality requirements in terms of technology, equipment, and environmentally conscious operation, we have carried out comprehensive development in the period since the purchase. In 2021 and 2022, as part of the HUF 1.1 billion investment, we expanded our auxiliary materials warehouse, where we also installed a new shelving system, transformed the entire machinery, bought a new friction generator, expanded the equipment washing rooms, modernized the lighting and modernized the we have installed a suitable economical and environmentally friendly CO2-based cooling system”
– said Márk Maczelka, head of communications at SPAR Hungary.
