MNB: the turnover of electronic payment modess increased in the first quarter
According to data of the National Bank of Hungary (Magyar Nemzeti Bank, MNB), the turnover of electronic payment modess increased in the first quarter of 2015.The most striking increase can be detected in the number of touch card terminals and payment facilities.
The number of touch cards has increased by 6 percent in the first quarter, compared to the fourth quarter of 2014. More than 44 percent of the issued payment cards – 3.9 million cards – can be used to touch payment – the National Bank of Hungary announced on its website on Tuesday. (MTI)
