MNB: turnover with bank cards increased significantly in the first quarter
The value of individual forint transfers increased by almost 12 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year, which was already helped by the launch of the immediate payment service on 2 March.
In parallel with the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the number of online card acceptance points has also increased as a result of the rapid spread of various home delivery services and contactless payment. (MTI)
