MNB: an amount more than 3 percent of GDP has been used in the framework of the increase loan program
The Central Bank’s increase loan program (NHP) contributed substantively to the lending revolution.
The amount used until now is more than 1,080 billion HUF, 3.1 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) of Hungary – Nagy Márton, executive director of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB), responsible for financial stability the and loan promotion.
At the conference of Napi Gazdaság, Nagy Márton pointed out that the NHP is one of the largest-scale credit incentive program in Europe, but also in international comparison. (MTI)
