MNB: wide range of products and services caused inflation to rise in November
In November, inflation rose by 0.9 percentage points and core inflation by 0.6 percentage points; The rise in inflation was reflected in a wide range of products and services, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB) stated in its commentary on the November inflation data.

Core inflation rises above 5 percent
Central bank indicators, which capture more persistent inflation trends, increased compared to the previous month. Core inflation, adjusted for indirect taxes, rose by 0.6 percentage points to 5.3 percent, while the price index for demand-sensitive products rose by 0.4 percentage points to 5.1 percent, and inflation for goods and services with infrequent prices rose by 0.6 percentage points to 6.1 percent.
