MNB: Households’ net wealth exceeded 108 percent of the GDP at the end of 2019
Households’ net financial assets increased by 11.7 percent last year to 50,932 billion HUF at the end of the year.
Households’ financial assets totaled 61,161 billion HUF, accounting for 130.8 percent of GDP, and liabilities of 10,230 billion HUF representing 21.9 percent of GDP, bringing net financial assets to 108.9 percent of GDP – According to preliminary data released by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) on Monday.
