MLBKT: further growth in February
The seasonally adjusted value of the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) in February was 53.2 points, with respondents reporting more favorable developments 11 months than in the previous month; After a slight increase in January, the value of the index improved and continues to expand, the Hungarian Logistics Purchasing and Inventory Company (MLBKT) told MTI on Tuesday.
Compared to previous February, this year’s value is above the long-term February average (52.9) and the average of the past three years (52.3), and is the thirteenth highest in February.
Most of the sub-indices surveyed increased, compared to January. The rate of change did not reach 5 percentage points in any case. (MTI)
