MLBKT: PMI in December indicates a growth
The seasonally adjusted value of the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) in December last year was 51.1 points the same as in November, ie respondents reported more favorable developments for the third month in a row than before, and the indicator remained above the 50-point threshold separating growth from decline. Hungarian Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Company (MLBKT) announced.
Compared to previous December, this year’s value is lower than the long-term December average of 52.5 points and especially the 56.1-point average of the last three years, which was particularly boosted by the 59.9-point indicator for 2017. Last December’s value is the eighth lowest value in since 1995. (MTI)
