MLBKT: PMI indicates minimal growth
The seasonally adjusted February Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) was 50.1 points, down from 52.2 in January and the fourth lowest since February 1995 – the Hungarian Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Company (MLBKT) announced on Monday.
After December last year, the employment index fell below 50.0 points last month. The index has consistently fluctuated around 50.0 points in the past six months, separating growth from decline.
The production volume index declined from its January value, but remained above 50.0 points. (MTI)
