MLBKT: increased PMI in December
The Seasonally Adjusted Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) for December was 53.9, showing a generally more favorable trend compared to the previous month.
In 2018, the trend was positive, which continued in 2019 – the Hungarian Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Society (MLBKT) told.
The December 2019 index is higher than the value in November (53.1) and is the seventh highest December data, above the long-term December average (52.4) and below the last three-year’s average (55.1). (MTI)
