MLBKT: the value of the purchasing manager index decreased by almost half
In March, the impact of the coronavirus epidemic unfolded. The Purchasing Manager index fell to 29.1 points from the previous month’s 50.3 points – the Hungarian Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Society (MLBKT) announced on Wednesday.
Respondents reported significantly less favorable processes than in the previous month. The majority of sub-indices examined in the survey declined sharply, compared to February, with the rate of decline exceeding 20 percentage points in six cases. (MTI)
