MKIK GVI: business cycle indicator at the pre-pandemic level
The economic indicator of the MKIK GVI Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship Research (MKIK GVI) rose from 28 points to 38 points in April, the lowest value since the beginning of the survey in 1998, from to the value of 40 points experienced during the last data collection in October 2019, the institute told MTI on Monday.
The value of the economic indicator is the highest at 45 points for commercial companies, 42 points among manufacturing companies, 40 points among construction companies and 30 points among companies providing other services. The most significant shift compared to the previous half-year was in commercial companies, where the value of the indicator increased by 16 points compared to April. (MTI)
