MKIK: business confidence fell slightly in the fourth quarter of last year
According to the survey of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK GVI), on the basis of the January data, the economic performance of the fourth quarter of 2018 decreased slightly, from the 42 points of the previous quarter to 41 points.
MKIK’s GVI Quarterly Corporate Business Survey surveyed 400 business leaders – 300 small and medium-sized enterprises and 100 large companies – in January 2019 about their business situation and prospects.
According to the announcement made to MTI on Wednesday, 41 points have been the second highest ever since the beginning of the quarterly business survey (2010). (MTI)
