Nisa launches mix-and-match freezer deals to drive shopper engagement
Nisa has kicked off a ‘three for £4’ mix-and-match freezer deal through to 2025, replacing its ‘five for £6’ freezer filler promotion in a bid to drive shopper engagement.
The new offer will allow the convenience retailer’s customers to choose any three qualifying products for £4 and forms part of Nisa’s commitment to addressing the growing demand for customisable and cost-effective meal solutions.
The shift comes as research indicates a significant consumer trend toward “mix and match” promotions across the retail sector, and within the grocer’s customer base, there has been a 17% increase year on year in partners buying into the freezer deal promotion, which One Stop said highlights the increased demand for a developing deal.
Retail analysis also highlights that mix-and-match deals encourage larger basket sizes and cross-category purchases, boosting customer engagement.
The new promotion offers a range of options that will change periodically, allowing customers to try new products and avoiding the risk of stockpiling frozen items that can lead to a slower buying cycle
Stores will also see enhanced margin benefits compared to traditional fixed-frequency discounts, according to the retailer.
