The number of tourists increased by about 17 percent in Romania
The number of tourists at commercial accommodations increased by about 17 percent in Romania in the first seven months of the year, compared to the same period of last year – the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Tuesday.
In the first seven months, 5 million 308 thousand tourists arrived to the commercial accomodations, compared to last year’s 4 million 540 thousand, which is 16.9 percent increase. The number of foreign tourists reached 1 million 235 thousand, compared to last year’s 1 million 48 thousand, which is a 17.8 percent increase. (MTI)
