Visitors to the Downtown Beer Festival can meet quality craft beers
The Belvárosi Sörfesztivál awaits visitors with more than 250 types of beer, the craft specialties of the best Hungarian brews and masterpieces of international brands for six days, between August 29 and September 3, 2023. The main sponsor of the event, now in its second year, is SPAR Hungary, which supports high-quality domestic beer culture.
“For many years, SPAR Hungary has been supporting the introduction of beer specialties produced by domestic small and family businesses to the market, because we believe that, in addition to the big international brands, it is important to show the products of unique, new flavors, small series production and innovative domestic breweries . Many beers in the units of our chain of stores, about a quarter of the product selection, come from these small factories, and we are proud to undertake our mission, with which we not only help domestic breweries to enter the market, but also bring our customers to a new kind of gastronomic experience”.
– said Márk Maczelka, head of communications at SPAR Hungary. He added that the supermarket chain is the main sponsor of the Downtown Beer Festival for the second year in a row to help consumers get to know the world, selection and novelties of Hungarian craft breweries at this summer festival as well. At the same time, it is gratifying that SPAR Hungary was able to further increase its role in domestic beer sales, the growth dynamics of the product category are outstanding.
