High quality in public sector catering
When the GasztVitál group started, we decided that the regulations governing the sector would only be the minimum requirement from ourselves: our objective is to provide such high quality service that when today’s students grow up, they will have positive feelings when they hear the expression ‘school cafeteria’. This is why we employ the best experts, use state-of-the-art kitchen technology and top-quality cooking ingredients, and constantly audit and improve our processes. No wonder that in 2018 the monthly evaluations always brought values between 4.6 and 4.8 points on a scale of 5 at every place where we cook and serve food.
In the last 4 months for 3-week periods we made it possible for parents in 21 schools to taste what their children were eating. Since these days many children and adults are suffering from rather complex food allergies, at the end of 2018 we converted one of GasztVitál’s kitchens in Budapest to serve special dietary needs. Here we can cook 30 different special meals.
