Magazine: SPAR makes progress in every area
In spite of the challenges that 2020 brought, SPAR Magyarország Kereskedelmi Kft. came up with an excellent performance. Compared with 2019, sales augmented by 8.7 percent to reach HUF 738.9 billion. The number of employees also increased and went above 14,000 by the end of the year. Fourteen stores were modernised and two new SPAR supermarkets and two City SPAR supermarkets opened.

Today approximately 2 million customers have access to SPAR’s online shop. Already more than 3,600 private label products of 31 product lines are available
to shoppers in SPAR stores. It is a priority for SPAR to sell Hungarian products: more than 90 percent of the retailer’s product selection is supplied by Hungarian partners. SPAR keeps is expanding the circle of domestic suppliers and supports up-and-coming Hungarian enterprises. //
