According to the inspectors of the National Consumer Protection Authority (NFH), one in five supermarket scales measure more. This ratio at smaller shops is: every fourth – the NFH told MTI on Tuesday.
The examination of the authority stated that during one test purchase, the inspectors had to pay 207 HUF more on average, due to irregular measurement. Experience shows that the scales measure more in food-chain stores and at smaller grocers mostly. (MTI)
